Designer Clothes

I'm sure if your a parent you have heard
 " But Mom/Dad everyone at school is wearing xxxxx ( fill in with the latest fashion trend)"
Yep we have all been there at one time or another.
Now, as a parent it's up to us to teach our kids that they don't always get everything they want.
Having said that, we also don't want our kids to feel like they are the only ones without the latest trend.
I have always tried for a compromise. A couple of trendy items mixed in with "regular" items.
But if you are living on a budget you know that buying the latest fashion trend sometimes just isn't possible.
Thrift stores/ second hand stores or consignment shops are a great option. I have found great finds in almost new if not new condition or a fraction of the cost.
Really..... Like an $80 pair of pants that look like they just came from the store for under $10.
Or a $110 hoodie for $12 that looks brand new.
Little kid clothes are even cheaper.
I honestly don't know how or why some parents buy their kids all the latest fashion trends, but I sure am happy when I can pick up their cast offs for a fraction of what they paid for it. ;)
